Founded in 1910, CRRC Shandong is not only one of the earliest railway factories in China, but also a century-old enterprise with deep cultural heritage. Once engaged in steam locomotive repair and manufacturing, and passenger train and freight vehicle repair as well as internal combustion locomotives and railway truck manufacturing and other business, it has created the highest record with a cumulative repair of 14402 steam locomotives and made an important contribution to the development of  railway transport of China. In the recent years, with the changes in the market situation and the development strategy, Two Transformation development strategy has been firmly implemented.
